Scope and Consent

You accept this Privacy Policy by creating your Ballooning Nest Eggs account, and/or by using or accessing the information, tools, features, software and functionality (including content and product updates) of the Ballooning Nest Eggs’ services (the “Services”). We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT AND HOW WE USE IT

When you create a Ballooning Nest Eggs account, we will collect certain information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address, postal address and phone number, which is personally identifiable information or “PII”.

Information Related to Use of the Services

Our servers automatically record certain information about how our users (each, a “User”) use our Services (we refer to this information as “Log Data”). Log Data may include information such as a User’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, the web page that a User was visiting before accessing our Services, the pages or features of our Services to which a User browsed and the time spent on those pages or features, search terms, the links on our Services that a User clicked on and other statistics. Log Data also includes the information Users input, upload and select when creating and sharing social posts about their families, sending and/or receiving cards, creating upcoming events, gifting money to kids and/or receiving such gifts, responding to social posts and cards received (e.g. RSVPing to an invitation), among other actions Users take while using our Services.

Log Data enables us to do the following:

  1. Identify you when you sign in to your account
  2. Enable us to provide you with our Services
  3. Administer your account with us
  4. Contact you regarding any question you make through our Services
  5. Analyze the use of the Services and the people visiting to improve our content and Services
  6. Use for other purposes that we may disclose to you when we request your information

We analyze (and may engage third parties to analyze) Log Data to improve, customize and enhance our Services by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to our Users’ needs and preferences. We may use a person’s IP address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used. We may use third party data collection tools such as Google Analytics to provide us with analytics data regarding Users’ interactions with our Services. You may opt-out of Google Analytics automatic retention of data collected while using the Services by visiting https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Information Collected Using Cookies and Other Web Technologies

Like many website and app owners and operators, we use automated data collection tools such as Cookies and Web Beacons to collect certain information.

  1. “Cookies” are small text files that are placed on your device by a Web server when you access our Services. We may use both session Cookies and persistent Cookies to identify that you’ve logged in to the Services and to tell us how and when you interact with our Services. We may also use Cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on our Services and to customize and improve our Services. Unlike persistent Cookies, session Cookies are deleted when you log off from the Services and close your browser. Although most browsers automatically accept Cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting Cookies or to prompt you before accepting Cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept Cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of our Services. Some third-party services providers that we engage may also place their own Cookies on your hard drive. Note that this Privacy Policy covers only our use of Cookies and does not include use of Cookies by such third parties.
  2. “Web Beacons” (also known as Web bugs, pixel tags or clear GIFs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that may be included on our Services for several purposes, including to deliver or communicate with Cookies, to track and measure the performance of our Services, to monitor how many visitors view our Services, and to monitor the effectiveness of our advertising. Unlike Cookies, which are stored on the user’s hard drive, Web Beacons are typically embedded invisibly on web pages (or in an e-mail).

This data will not be publicly displayed or revealed to others:

  1. Your username and password details
  2. Your IP address
  3. Communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions or comments, or report a problem)

  1. When you are connected to other adults (your network) when using our Service: Only those adults to whom you are connected can see the social posts you create and share (from the Service’s “Share a Celebration” widget) and your family’s and child-specific pages. Both parties must agree to connect for two parties to be connected.
  2. When you send party invitations, announcements or greeting cards: Only the recipients to whom you have sent those cards will see them, regardless of whether you’re connected to or not connected to the Users sending those cards.

Notably, any information relating to gifts your children have received or those you have sent will only be viewable to you and those adults who are part of your and your family’s profile. This includes the amount of the gifts (total and individual), who sent them and when. Your connections will never see this information.

We do not and will not sell or otherwise provide your PII that we have collected to any third parties except as described below:

  1. We may engage third-party services providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. These third-party services providers will have access to your PII only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf.
  2. We reserve the right to disclose your PII when we believe that doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with the law or law enforcement, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect Ballooning Nest Eggs, Inc.’s legal rights.

WHAT’S PUBLIC
